I ordered two of these cribs in April of 2011. When they arrived, one of the cribs was missing a piece. After numerous attempts of trying to get a replacement for the missing part, I gave up. Because premature twins were now in the family, we just gave up and had a carpenter make a part for the crib. The cribs ARE beautiful, just be careful - the customer service at BSF is absolutely terrible. They were unresponsive and gave us NO help. Amazon did try to help us by offering a refund, (the cribs were out of stock for a time) but we needed two matching cribs and did not have the time to take the cribs down and start the shopping all over again. Now that they are in stock again, I am tempted to try ordering again, but am skeptical about whether we would get all the pieces.

I ordered this crib (from a different retailer) and at least 4 of the parts were broken, damaged, or scratched. The top part of the crib had a huge dent, the railing was all scratched, the bottom side part had a chunk of wood that was broken off, and our corner piece didn't line up to fit the screw through. I called the manufacturer to request a couple parts, but they never sent me an order form. After calling back the second time, the phone number is no longer assigned and the company cannot be reached... Ended up having to return the crib for a full refund and I refused to get another one. The color was espresso and beautifully made and was also easy to assembly. However, it was difficult to repack the items in the box.

I purchased a BSF Baby 4-in-1 sleigh crib through walmart prior to my daughters birth in May of 2011. I chose this crib because it converts from a crib, to a toddler bed, then eventually to a full sized bed. Some time around August of 2012 I decided to convert the bed to a toddler. It was then that I realized a piece was missing, the toddler bottom rail, to convert the bed to a toddler bed. I went back to the manual and saw that there was a phone number listed to contact in regards to missing parts. I called the phone number and let them know that I was missing a part. I was told that my issue would be forwarded to the company and that I should recieve an email from them referencing the matter in 7 to 10 business days. I checked my email consistantly and 14 days later I still had not heard from the company. I called again and was told that they would again forward my issue to the company and I would have to wait 7 to 10 days to receive an email back from the company. Again 14 days went by with no email from the company. I called the number a third time and told them I was getting frustrated. It was at this time it was explained to me that the number I was calling was simply a call center that forwarded the information they receivd to the company and that all they could do was forward my issued again. I asked them to do so and began to research other ways to contact BSF Baby Inc. or to just order the required part. I quickly found that it was extremely difficult to find a way to contact the company and did not find any way to obtain the needed part, toddler bottom rail. I did eventually find an email address, so on November 19, 2012 I sent BSF Baby Inc. and email letting them know that I was missing a part and how frustrated I was with the customer service they provide. It wasn't until January 3, 2013 that I received and email back stating that my "issue" had been closed. I responded with an email that my issue had never been resolved, that I was furious at how long this had been going on, and that I would be reporting them to the BBB and would spread the word not to buy from BSF Baby Inc. I received an email back the next day, January 4, 2013, stating that they understood my frustration, but that I had not filled out the required form with all of the requested information. They also asked if I could fill the form out again so they could try to resolve my issue as quickly as possible. I responded back letting the company know that I had never recieve the required form to fill out. The form was promptly sent to me. I fill the form out with all of the rquired information and returned it immediately. On March 5, 2013 I sent an email to the company asking for an update on my issue and let them know that if I did not hear something back by the end of the day with some type of resolution that I would be reporting them to BBB. I is now March 8, 2013 and I received another email from the company letting my know that my issue had been closed again. It lists no reason why and I still have no resolution to my missing part, the toddler bottom rail.
