This is a beautiful crib! I am actually kind of surprised that a crib of this quality and style is so affordable. I love the black wood, it looks really pretty and elegant!
My husband put the crib together in probably an hour and a half. It wasn't too tricky, except for the fact that the small bags of screws were not labeled very well, so they were easy to mix up (they were just identifiable by length, so he had to measure them to figure out which ones to use). All in all, not too tricky of a job.
The one problem we had with this crib is that it was TOO BIG for both crib mattresses we already owned! (We are expecting our third, so already have a crib and a toddler bed.) We own a Sealy Baby Soft mattress (bought in a store over 5 years ago), as well as the Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress. We first put the Sealy in and there was a little room on the sides, and a LOT of room on the end! I was definitely not comfortable putting my newborn baby in a crib with such a gap. Next we tried the Safety 1st mattress, and it fit much more snugly on the sides but still had too large of a gap on the ends. I did a lot of research, trying to find a longer crib mattress, and ended up buying the Serta Nightstar Extra Firm Crib Mattress and it fits perfectly! I am very happy with it.
In case you are wondering the actual INSIDE measurements of this crib, I measured it and it is 52.5 inches long by 28 inches wide.
Now that we have the mattress thing figured out, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this crib and am excited to put my newborn son in there in a few weeks.

I was a little nervous about buying something sight unseen but this turned out great. Its very sturdy. Looks fantastic! Just a word to the wise, make sure you measure your doorways before trying to take it in. My husband had to take it apart and put it back together in the nursery because it was to big to fit through the door. It is AWESOME.

I bought the dresser and chest in this set a few weeks ago and it was pretty intimidating.... I work for a high end furniture store as an Interior Designer so I was already pretty skeptical. Opened the box and was immediately relieved to see its actually wood, phew, it's not PLAM (plastic laminated practical board) started to pull out the pieces to assemble, and it was pretty easy. The construction is pretty good quality, doweled and bolted. I was however not as impressed with the crib cause you can see the bolts every ware. There are a few on the front that could have been hidden. Other that that, I'm very pleased.
