Mostly as expected

Decent piece of furniture. Description says it is solid wood. It is not. The frame and drawer fronts are wood. The rest of the drawers, the baby platform, and the back are all pressed laminate MDF. Assembly was easy. It took about 45 minutes from unpacking to complete with the only additional tool being a powered screwdriver. The box was damaged in shipment, but the furniture was fine. Overall I am satisfied for the price, but it is certainly not an heirloom piece.

Don't buy it! Missing pieces, bad packing and no customer service

I ordered this piece from the company (Dream on Me) via amazon and it took over two weeks to arrive. When it showed up, the box was completely ripped apart and some of the pieces (unfortunately front of drawers, so very visible) were noticeably nicked. When we went to put it together there were pieces of hardware missing. We couldn't reach the company via phone (no one answered calls to the company, no voice mail indicating hours of operation) or email (sent via their website). We ended up going to several hardware stores trying to find replacement pieces, but couldn't find the same size. We were able to make-do with another size, but certainly not ideal. I'm giving two stars because the piece isn't bad looking when assembled (besides the damage from shipping), but -- as other reviewer said -- it's no heirloom piece. I definitely feel like it was overpriced, particularly given how little care the company took with shipping and their non-existent customer service. I strong recommend spending the same price or even more to buy a higher quality piece from a store or established company that will help you out if the product is damaged or missing pieces!

Damaged/Missing parts--2nd Shipment--BEWARE OF SELLER

I don't know where this seller is getting these, but they are obviously returns or opened items. You can tell by the box and damage to the outer box, etc... The first one we unpacked completely--heavy pieces and it had damage to both sides-litterally punctures. The 2nd one had a chunk missing out of the back, missing black cap covers for screws--so that the screws don't show.

It works as a changing table and we can't waste anymore time sending these back, so we are keeping this one. Just DON'T GET YOUR EXPECATIONS UP!! It is not a perfect product. It looks good, but this seller is obviously not the best!!
