I'll start with the frustrating part: It took my husband and I about 2 hours working together to get this thing assembled. The instructions were easy to follow and clear,but there were just a lot of steps and pieces.
Now for the good parts: The instructions are not confusing at all, the product is in excellent condition, and the end result is FABULOUS for the price! No gaps or spaces, no scratches or holes, no missing pieces, etc. It looks almost identical to a dresser that a friend of mine has in her nursery, except hers was $360! The sliding parts are plastic, but I like it because it makes opening and closing the drawers so quiet! It is sturdy and I feel it will hold up well over time.
I was a little worried about what I was getting into after reading several other reviews, but I am very happy with my purchase! Knowing what I know now, I would have no problem with purchasing this exact product again!

The Chest of Drawers had more than 100 peice parts and 20+ steps to assemble. All the parts were there and the instructions were resonable.
The finish on the product was marred at delivery and easily chipped/scratched since it was a very thin vinyl over particle board.
Assembly time : Greater than 3 hours
Product quality: marginal
Look of finished product: poor

Now I certainly understand the drawbacks of buying a sub $200 piece of furniture that you must assemble yourself, but I've had much better experiences with similar items at similar price points than I had with this.
As I set to unpacking the 70+lb box I was thinking to myself, "this is going to be a horror show if I have to send it back". As it turned out, I was correct. The packaging is such that it uses shrink wrap and reinforced corner pieces to hold the otherwise terribly insufficient inner box together during shipping and handling. So the very act of opening the package virtually destroys the packaging. I proceeded with unpacking the jigsaw puzzle of parts and pieces fromm the box and carrying them upstairs to the room where it would be assembled and eventually used in. I came down stairs to make the last of the five trips and grab the last two pieces... the sides of the dresser which also incorporate the legs of the dresser, to see that both rear legs of the dresser were snapped off as a result of handling during shipping. Ugh.
It took me the better part of two hours to truck the pieces back downstairs, do my best to rearrange them to somehow fit into the original box, and tape the whole mess back up again. I can't imagine how this thing must have looked when it arrived back at Amazon.
To be fair, I can't really comment on the dresser itself because I never got a look at it assembled. Just didn't make it that far. What I can say is that Amazon is great about taking this back as a return and processing a quick refund. It was picked up by UPS the very next day.
Just a bummer though. We needed a dresser, this one fit the need and the budget. It's just too bad the manufacturer can't do a better job of packaging these things in a way that protects them during the shipping and handling process. I guess somewhere an accountant decided that it was cheaper to take a few in return than spend a few buck more on packaging. Good for them, bad for the consumer. Unless you've got a bunch of extra Saturday afternoons you'd like to waste.
