I would agree with the previous review that the instructions are poorly written, only there are no written instructions, just a picture. The box was shipped to my home, poorly packed in the box it came with damage, I decided to build anyway as the damage seemed to be in places that you wouldn't notice. I almost finished the assembly and when tightening the last screw, the entire cross beam split from end to end. It may be made out of wood, but its not very good wood. The platforms that you see in the picture, including the changing table itself, are not made of wood but a very thin MDF. I assume that this being a changing table, ITS GONNA GET WET, and therefor be useless and dangerous to leave a squirmy baby on. Skip this CHINA made crap and get something that will last
