This chair is worth the money, for the price you pay. We did purchase it from Target, and it was fairly easy to assemble. The cushions are all removable for easy cleaning, including the arm rests. We purchased the entire Delta line for our new baby room, so this fit good.
It isn't as comfortable as the higher end glider's that you see in Baby brick-and-motor stores, but for $200 it was about 1/3 of the price and will work just fine for us. With a newborn, we are also expecting some "messes" to occur on the chair, so we didn't feel like we should spend big money on something like this.
I'm not sure about the thunking noise that the other person mentioned, but we didn't have that issue. It is quiet and light enough that we can move it room to room with minimal effort.

My mother bought this chair for my baby's room from target. Brought it home and put it together and while rocking in it discovered it made a thunking noise. My husband looked at it and said it was the right front pivot joint and to call and get a replacement part. So I called the Delta customer service number and a very rude man informed me that they did not have this part I had to take my chair back to target and get another one. It was a huge pain to load the chair back up and the huge box into the truck and drive it back to the store. My husband took it back to target where he had to fight with them to take the chair back becuase we did not have the recipt since it was a gift. They finally exchanged it and so he brought the new chair home put it together only to discover that it made the same noise but only worse! It was the same problem as with the last chair even though the rude customer service man had assured me that it wasn't a common problem with the chair and that another chair would not made the same noise. So now I we have to take the chair back AGAIN and argue with target AGAIN. This time I am going to get my money back and find another chair. Do not waste your time or money on this poorly made chair. Not only does it make a horrible noise but the underside of the chair (which you never see but as it is a brand new chair should still be in good condition) was scratched up as if they had dragged it after it had been stained. Waste of money; will never buy from this company again.

This glider was fairly simple to put together and worked for a couple of months. Our baby is now 10 months old and the glider is horrible. This glider got average use and slowly the screws started loosening. My husband has attempted to re-tighten everything with no success. We hear a horrible creaking sound at the slightest movement when sitting on this thing and forget trying to rock your baby to sleep on this noisy glider! Ugh, this item was such a waste of money...I suppose the old "you get what you pay for" really applies here.
