Great diaper - dries slowly

We got this pack to try out the all-in-one diapers (as we have some of the bum genius 4.0 diapers). It's a nice deal and a good assortment of colors.

The diapers are easy to use and it's great to just pull them out of the wash and they're good to go. Unfortunately, we've found that they are VERY slow to dry. Everything else in the load will be toasty dry and these are still damp. The issue seems to be one of design as when tumbling the inner layers have little to no exposure to the air and thus just take forever to dry. We've taken to letting them generally dry and then pulling them out and letting them air dry to finish up. (And even though the 4.0's are supposed to line-dry the inserts, we've found that you can dry them on ultra-low for a little bit and they get nice and dry without seeming to damage the waterproofing.)

The other drawback of these is that, with newborns, the extra layers get kind of bulky. The 4.0 series have the two types of inserts so you can at least start with the smaller one that fits your baby better.

We haven't had any issues with leaking or blowouts. These don't wick the water away perhaps quite as well as the 4.0 series. But no issues with lack of absorbency or any diaper rash. All in all a great product if it didn't take so long to dry.

Super softest of the Bum Genius series, leak/poop proof, wash completely clean!

Amazingly soft organic cotton, easy clean (mine are still washing out with no stains!), no rashes or irritation.
I found just one dry cycle on high heat does the trick, no damage or shrinking of the fabric.
Adjustable buttons seem to fit 8+lb babies all the way to potty training! (Yeah, they are bulkier than some others
but they keep baby drier, they are more comfortable -soft elasticized waist and legs, and are chemical free!)
As easy to use as a disposable, no inserts to fuddle with. Just put on, take off, toss in the wash!

OK, but Not my favorite diaper

These diapers are convenient in that they are all in ones and there is no stuffing/destuffing. However they take forever to dry if you want to hang dry your diapers. Also I don't like how the cotton stays wet against my baby's skin.
