We were very excited once we got this put together. It is very sturdy and nice looking. Lots of room between the shelves if you want to add baskets for storage.
The pad that comes with it is not that great-very thin, so we bought a nice thick one at a local store. Looks exactly like the picture.

It was my fault for not taking all the pieces out and checking them before starting to put it together (my father would be so disappointed in me!)...but it was very frustrating getting the ENTIRE thing together just to have the very last support bar broken in two. The box wasn't damaged and everything else was in good shape, so it seems to clearly be an issue at the factory. The wood is a little flimsy, but it would've served its purpose had it not arrived broken. The color was a nice dark brown.
One thing I did not think to check but realized after buying a replacement table...these things are only for babies up to 25-30 lbs. As my baby is a healthy eater, this would only last me until he is about 6 months. I would expect a changing table for babies to be sturdy enough to handle babies for a longer range of growth. Just wanted to point it out for any parents who hadn't considered this (as I hadn't).
