I don't make a habit of leaving comments on Amazon, but I had to make en exception in this instance. This pad is absolutely terrible. They must have felt embarrassed when they were sending it out. I was charged $31 for this and when I opened the package I started laughing. It is only about 1 inch thick and not the least bit dense. This must have cost the manufacturer $1 or less to make. It is the most basic and useless pad. You would be better off going to a foam padding store and buying padding and wrapping a blanket around it. I found another pad with sloped sides and far more padding that had the same width as this one. I ended up cutting a few inches off of that pad and it fits perfectly. The thing that is most frustrating about this is they feel they can get away with charging so much because they have a captive audience, being that this is the only pad that fits the Athena Crib with attached changer. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this pad.

While the crib is quite nice just use the end table as just that, an end table. Do not buy this pad, it is barely an inch thick and not at all firm, I would not expect this to cushion the baby at all. We are now looking at changing tables.
Once again, do not buy this pad.
