I didn't know the difference between the single burpy bib for $10 and the 2 pack for $22, so of course I opted for the 'better deal'. I have since learned the 2 pack is actually the higher quality and larger burpy bib, while the single bib is made cheaper for target etc. Same is true for the blankets. The higher priced are the better quality. This single burpy bib is still nice and larger than most other burp cloths and bibs so I will still get much good use out of it. I like it very much, but next time will go for the 2 pack.

Like many aden and anais products there are two different quality levels. It's pretty easy to figure out with the swaddle blankets, the higher quality are 47x47" and the lower quality are 44x44". It's not as easy to figure out with the bibs. I thought they were all the same and assumed these being sold for $10 each while others sell for $22 per two pack was attributable to amazon price fluctuations. I was wrong, these bibs, while functional, are somewhat smaller and much thinner than the higher quality ones. I'm not sure if they are fewer layers or made of a thinner muslin but they're not nearly as absorbent as the higher quality version. The size difference is noticeable but not really a big deal, they're still plenty large enough to function as the nicer ones do. I really wish amazon described the product in a way that made the differences clear before purchase.

I got this bib for my 7 month-old daughter after seeing one of my friends' babies use it. She had nothing but great things to say about it, so I decided to give it a shot. I was a little put off by the price, so I opted for the single bib for just $10. I wish now I had gone ahead and ordered two because I love it so much! It offers great coverage - covering both shoulders, the tops of both arms, and most of the torso. My friends have teased me for the size of the bib, but it protects my baby's clothes from stains! Because it drapes over the tops of the arms, it helps a little in covering her hands from grabbing the spoon, which is nice. The coverage over the shoulders is a great advantage I've noticed over her other bibs (Bumkins & Sugarbooger). She is squirmy & pulls at the sides of her other bibs, so we almost always get food on her shirt when using those. It is soft and very absorbent; no food has leaked through to the other side. I also manage to get a couple uses out of it before washing since it is double-sided. I'm amazed at how well baby food washes out of it, even with the dominant color being white.
I will probably be buying another one soon, as I'm washing this one all the time since it's by far my favorite. My only hesitation is I'm wondering if I may prefer a bib with a pocket when she starts eating finger foods, which isn't too far in the future.
