Sturdy but poor build and functionality

The seller (BabyCasa) shipped this product on time and the box arrived in good shape. However, on opening the product, I found that the parts were not packed properly and the contents may have bounced about during transit. The manual labeled the panels as A, B, C etc, but the actual panels had no corresponding labels. Two of the wooden panels were cracked and I had to use extreme care to make sure I would not break them while attaching them to other parts. The wood work was not symmetrical or well preserved, as things did not fit naturally, and I had to use a chisel to make things fit, and it made assembly maddening. The drawers do not sit well inside their cavities and there is not backstop which will prevent it from falling on your toes when extended beyond the halfway point. Very poorly designed and the finish and quality is not congruent with the price for this product. I would have returned the product, if not the immediacy of my requirement and the cumbersome packaging that I had to do to return it.

This changing table is the nicest I've seen for the price. I was going to buy a used one like this on Craigslist, but this was the same price or better, brand new, and it was delivered stright to me. The color matches my espresso crib. Assembly wasn't bad. One drawer track could be adjusted so that it rolls easier, but otherwise I recommend it.
